What is it like?
The color of the peel is from light green to yellow, its shape is elliptical, the color of the pulp is from light green to citrine yellow and the weight must not be less than 80 gr.

When you find it
It comes from the blooms of June July and the production is harvested from March to mid-May.
What is it like?
Light yellow color, the shape is elliptical or ovoid, the color of the pulp is yellow and is collected with a size of not less than 80 gr.
Why is it special?
Lemon juice squeezed into half a glass of water, if consumed regularly in the morning on an empty stomach, helps strengthen the immune system, regulates intestinal peristalsis, cleanses the liver, balances the gastric pH by reducing the total acidity of the body.
VERDELLO
When you find it
Summer lemon, born from the flowering obtained by "forcing the lemon", due to water stress, "the dry", between August and September and includes the production that is harvested from May to September. read more
Forcing lemon is a cultivation technique practiced in Sicily to induce the plant to bloom again in order to produce off-season fruits. The practice consists in suspending irrigation in the summer, until the end of July, the so-called "dry". When the foliage shows a generalized drying, it intervenes with irrigation and some fertilizations that induce the overcoming of stress and the emission of abundant flowering that gives rise to fruits that will reach ripening the following summer, called "verdelli".
